Staging and Protection of €17M Server Infrastructure

SAIL supported a large server relocation project involving approximately €17 million worth of server racks and critical IT infrastructure.

Before the relocation took place, our team was responsible for safely staging and protecting the equipment while preparations were made for transport and installation at the new site.

To ensure the infrastructure remained fully protected, SAIL designed and installed a temporary weatherproof tunnel system, allowing racks to be moved between buildings without exposure to external conditions. Each rack was fitted with custom padded protective covers to prevent vibration, impact, or environmental damage during handling.

The project required careful planning and coordination with the client’s technical teams to ensure the equipment remained secure and ready for relocation.
